Descripción
El Festival Cultural Danjong es el evento más importante del municipio de Yeongwol-gun, en la provincia Gangwon-do. Se realiza en los alrededores de la tumba real de Jangneung. Este festival es un evento histórico celebrado anualmente de 1967 en memoria del Rey Danjong (el 6to. monarca de la dinastía Joseon) y su corte. Originalmente el festival se llamaba Danjongje, pero fue rebautizado en 1990. Se decidió que el rito principal se realice el último viernes de cada abril.
