浦項國際煙火節是在「火與光之都」浦項每年定期舉辦的代表文化觀光慶典，以象徵國際鋼鐵城市浦項的「光」與象徵熔爐的「火」形象為主題，自2004年為紀念浦項市民日施放煙火開始，如今已發展為國際規模的慶典活動，每年皆有世界高水準的海外煙火表演團隊共襄盛舉。慶典活動也跳脫單純的「煙火」，融合創作表演與燈光遊行等產業與文化要素，發展為多彩多姿的慶典。[活動內容]1. 主要活動 : 國際煙火秀(韓國、加拿大、義大利 / 地點: 兄山江體育公園)、無人機燈光秀、光之藝術街、街頭遊行、每日煙火秀2. 附屬活動 : 煙火音樂慶典、藝穗表演、煙火藝術市集、煙火主題區、美食之路、農特產品販賣區等
