閑山大捷是李舜臣將軍率領朝鮮水軍，在統營閑山島前海與日本水軍作戰並大獲全勝的戰役。統營閑山大捷慶典是為紀念勝戰，緬懷李舜臣將軍救國精神的慶典，期間將重現三道水軍(忠清、全羅、慶尚)統制營守門將換崗儀式及軍點、李舜臣將軍出行隊伍及水操。活動不僅會在閑山島前海利用龜船與地區漁民船隻，展現閑山大捷的著名戰術「鶴翼陣」，以漆黑大海為背景的船上煙火秀更是夢幻無比。此外，重視團隊精神的龜船划船大賽也相當受歡迎。[備註] 鶴翼陣如鶴展翅般配置戰艦攻擊敵人的戰術，在閑山大捷中首度登場。
