Miryang Arirang Festival (밀양아리랑대축제)

The Miryang Arirang Festival celebrates and preserves Miryang Arirang, which was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012. First launched in 1957 as the Miryang Cultural Festival, it has grown into one of Gyeongsangnam-do’s leading regional festivals. Visitors can enjoy the Miryang Arirang Competition, Arirang-themed experiences, and a variety of traditional cultural programs. The highlight of the festival is Miryanggang Odyssey, a fantasy musical brings together thousands of years of Miryang’s history and the spirit of Miryang Arirang. Featuring spectacular performances, beautiful music, and captivating storytelling, the production leaves a lasting impression on audiences and stands as one of the festival's signature attractions.
