- Where does Korea in View source its festival data?
- Dates, address, phone, official overview, and official photos on listing pages come from the Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI. We do not create or rewrite those fact fields. Guides and /notes visit notes are operator writing, labeled separately.
- Who writes the guides?
- Guides are original writing by the Korea in View operator. They are not expanded TourAPI overviews or machine-translated articles. Body copy exists in Korean and English only.
- How many languages does the site support?
- Hub and navigation UI is available in 9 languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, French, German, and Russian. Festival and place listings come from that language’s TourAPI service — the same event can have a different content ID per language. Guides are written in Korean and English only. Other locale /guide URLs serve the English text and are noindex.
- How can I know if a festival schedule changes?
- Festival schedules, venues, and fees may change at the organizer's discretion. While we sync with the Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI on a periodic schedule, please verify critical details with the organizer's official channels.
- Do I need to sign up or log in?
- No. All features are available for free without registration or login. Search queries are used only to look up results. If you use Nearby, coordinates are sent only to our nearby API. We do not save them to an account or use them for ads.
- How does the nearby festival finder work?
- On the Nearby page, granting location access sends latitude and longitude only to our /api/nearby endpoint, which proxies a Korea Tourism Organization TourAPI search. Coordinates are not stored as a user record and are not used for ads.
- Why are ads displayed?
- This site is free to use. To support operations, we may display ads such as Google AdSense. Ads are visually separated from editorial content, and ad revenue never influences ranking or visibility.
- Who operates this site?
- Korea in View is operated by Link Factory (Representative: Seungjae Han, business registration 604-43-01375). Full company details are available on the Company Information page.
- What if I find incorrect festival information?
- Report fact-field errors via the Contact page. We check them against TourAPI; once the source is corrected, the listing updates. Guide errors are edited by us. Initial response within 3-5 business days.
