Plan subway Lines 1 and 2 with transfers first. After the last train, budget taxi and walking time for beach and hill sections — Busan's slopes feel heavier than the forecast suggests. Weekend traffic across Gwangan Bridge can stall for a long time, so never make it the default route. KTX Busan Station is not Haeundae; expect 40-plus minutes between them.
STAY
Stay in the belt you chose — dine there too
A coastal main calls for a Haeundae or Gwangan stay; a downtown main calls for Nampo or Seomyeon. A Haeundae hotel with a Nampo-only day — long crossings as the default — is Busan's most common waste. Browse Busan stays by district.
